It was to create a new model from an existing model carved by a person different style of mine. The first point is to adapt its sculpture which already exists. The second difficulty is to marry a specific historical style to the fantastic elements.The basic anatomy as it is no longer human I had to pay close attention to the installation of the masses so that additions are integrated to the sculpture but also that the thus created form a coherent whole. So I used the sculpey to create parts dragonoïdes, making work easier with the epoxy putty texture. The design is free I chose to draw inspiration from the work of John Howe and JAG to create the head element giving its character to the room. It should be rather grotesque but realistic treatment which ultimately was a challenge to the original and recreation for me once. : Print high quality polyurethane resin, supplied unpainted, unassembled.
