A field improvisation created by Royal Engineer Captain Percy H. Morrell. Mating a Sherman M4 mantlet and a 75mm gun to the face of the Churchill Mk IV turret, successfully providing a weapon capable of firing a useful high-explosive round. Some 200 turrets were converted, serving from Tunisia through the Italian campaign.
