In the updated General’s Handbook 2017, Warhammer Age of Sigmar players have the option to add 400 points of Allies in Matched Play games – these don’t affect your army’s Allegiance Abilities, and allow you to put together a themed army without worrying about losing out on the advantages Allegiance Abilities confer.
