In the General’s Handbook, you’ll find several ways to play games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. One of these, Open Play, is a straightforward, streamlined way to build your armies – absolute flexibility, with no restrictions. It’s entirely up to you what rules you want to bolt-on to the standard Warhammer Age of Sigmar rules; the myriad Battleplans and Time of War rules contained in the numerous publications can be used as they are found, or mixed and matched to create new ways to play and new scenarios according to your play style.
Open Play is about you, and is designed to let your imagination flow. Adapt our rules to your needs, create your own scenarios, assemble your armies however you see fit. The end goal is to have fun and enjoy a wargaming experience with your friends – be as serious, or as playful, as you like.
