Iron Hands Contemptor Dreadnought

Contemptor Dreadnoughts stride the battlefield as gods of war, each an indomitable armoured walker controlled by an interred Space Marine hero. To be unified with the systems of an immortal Dreadnought is regarded as the highest honour amongst the Iron Hands, the ultimate in augmentation and a testament to the superiority of machine over flesh. Constructed with all the technical expertise and cybernetic skill for which the X Legion is known, these war machines form the mighty anvil on which victory is forged.This multipart plastic and resin kit builds one Contemptor Dreadnought themed around the Iron Hands Legion. It includes a full plastic Contemptor Dreadnought and an Iron Hands Contemptor Dreadnought Upgrade Set with a resin head and torso. The head is modified with extensive bionic cabling, while the torso features segmented armour plates, further cybernetic cabling, and the metal gauntlet icon of the Iron Hands on a cog-wheel backdrop. These resin components replace some elements from the plastic Contemptor Dreadnought kit, allowing you to build and arm the model as you like. This kit comprises 164 plastic components and 4 resin components, and is supplied with a Citadel 60mm Round Base as well as a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 44 markings and icons. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints. This resin modelling kit is a collectable item and construction should only be undertaken by expert Warhammer hobbyists aged 15 years and over.This kit is also compatible with the Contemptor Dreadnought Weapon Frames, which are sold separately, allowing you to outfit your Dreadnought with two copies of the same arm-mounted ranged weapon.
