Ebs arrived in Torbridge Cull about 3 years ago. He came wandering down the abandoned North Wood path that leads into the Khavahk mountains. He was beaten and bruised, bloodied and barely walking. And he was clearly not a Talharian. He was nursed back to health by the community (half of whom wanted him to be left for dead), and it turned out he spoke a little Talharian and was able to convey that he was a Northman who had somehow survived an unheard of trek through the mountains from his home far, far to the north on the shores of the Frozen Sea. Stranded in Torbridge Cull, he was determined to show the community that he was of value and should remain in the Vale. Though he revealed nothing of his past, he displayed remarkable skill as a butcher, and soon became the town’s preeminent cutter of meats, and took over the butcher’s shop in the Torbridge Cull Market, despite his very limited language skills.
