Dantae, revered as the ‘King in the Woods’ and the ‘Master of the Wild Hunt’, commands Nomen Betu with an immortal presence intertwined with the very essence of the seasons. In a ritual as ancient as the forest itself, he willingly surrenders to the flames of his own funeral pyre each midwinter, only to rise anew with the first breath of spring.
On the eve of the vernal equinox, the Wild Riders, guardians of the realm, select a young prince to undergo the sacred transformation. Led to the heart of Nomen Betu, the chosen one is entrusted to the care of Dantae’s spouse, who, with divine grace, sculpts flesh and spirit into the eternal form of the god-king.
With the dawn, the chosen prince emerges reborn, his mortal essence transfigured into the divine essence of Dantae. Armed with the mightiest weapons of war and sounding his horn, Dantae rallies his people to the call of the Wild Hunt.
As the realm faces its greatest threats, Dantae strides fearlessly into battle, his presence igniting a primal fire in the hearts of every elf. Drawn by the irresistible lure of their king’s summons, they forsake the trappings of civilization for the intoxicating rush of the hunt and the sweet taste of victory on the wind.
