Samnite Mod2, Gladiator

The Samnite was one of the earliest Roman gladiator types, inspired by the warlike Samnite tribes Rome once fought.
He entered the arena heavily armed, with a large rectangular shield, crested helmet, greaves and a short sword or spear, embodying the ideal of a disciplined heavy infantryman.
