The sun had barely risen when the village’s silence was shattered by the thunderous approach of the Goliath barbarians. Towering figures covered in crude, fur-lined armour charged down from the mountains, their helmets adorned with great horns—each one missing a single horn in homage to Venger, their dark patron. As they stormed the village, the air filled with the clang of steel and the deep, guttural battle cries of the tribe.
At the head of the raid, their chieftain, Krag, swung a massive axe, his one-horned helmet gleaming in the light of the early dawn. His warriors moved with terrifying coordination, smashing through doors, overturning wagons, and dragging villagers from their homes. These weren’t ordinary plunderers—they were fuelled by a dark reverence, each act of destruction a twisted offering to the malevolent Venger.
Fires began to burn through the village, casting an eerie glow on the blood-soaked ground. The Goliaths spared no one, their eyes wild with fervour as they sought tribute for their god. For every horn lost in his honour, a village was meant to fall, a grim reminder of their pact. Amid the chaos, Krag paused only once, raising his axe high and roaring Venger’s name, sealing the fate of the village.
As the last of the village defences crumbled, the Goliaths gathered their spoils and disappeared into the misty mountains, leaving behind only destruction. The one-horned raiders had once again honoured their dark patron, and the villagers were left to face the aftermath of their brutal wrath.
