Mara Venn - Teenage Pickpocket | Fantasy Thief Npc Miniature Stl

Description

Keep an eye on your purse.

Nell Quickfingers has spent most of her young life learning that the difference between going hungry and eating well is often determined by how closely somebody is watching their pockets.

Small, quick and deliberately unassuming, Nell makes her living among crowded markets, taverns and busy city streets, where a moment's distraction is usually all she needs. She's not a hardened assassin or legendary adventurer — she's a streetwise teenage pickpocket who's become remarkably good at surviving in a world that hasn't given her many other options.

Nell has been designed as a characterful fantasy NPC miniature rather than a conventional combat hero, making her particularly useful for bringing towns, taverns and urban encounters to life. She could be the thief who relieves an adventurer of an important quest item, a young rogue caught with her hand somewhere it shouldn't be, an informant who knows every alley in the city, or even an unlikely companion who joins the party after discovering that adventuring pays considerably better than petty theft.

Of course, she could also just steal the wizard's purse.

Sometimes an NPC doesn't need a complicated backstory.

What's Included
This digital product includes:

1 Nell Quickfingers Teenage Pickpocket miniature
High-quality STL files for resin 3D printing
A characterful young fantasy NPC suitable for towns, taverns and urban encounters
Clearly defined, exaggerated details designed specifically for miniature printing and painting
This is a digital STL product only. No physical miniature is supplied.

Nell is ideal for fantasy tabletop RPGs, dungeon crawlers, skirmish games, urban encounters, tavern scenes, fantasy dioramas and NPC miniature collections.

She can easily represent a pickpocket, street urchin, young rogue, thief, messenger, informant or civilian NPC in your own fantasy setting.

Designed for Miniature Printing
Like all of my miniatures at The Lion's Tower, Nell has been sculpted specifically with the finished physical miniature in mind.

Her proportions, clothing, accessories and facial features have been designed to remain clearly readable once printed at tabletop scale, avoiding unnecessarily fragile details while still giving painters plenty of character to work with.

She's also deliberately more grounded than many fantasy miniatures. Not everybody wandering around your campaign's cities needs a six-foot sword, flaming armour and the ability to summon a dragon.

Sometimes you just need someone to nick the six-foot sword while its owner isn't looking.

Made at The Lion's Tower
Mara was originally created through The Lion's Tower Patreon, where I regularly develop new fantasy characters, monsters, NPCs and other miniatures for 3D printing and tabletop gaming.

If you enjoy having characterful NPCs like Mara populating your tabletop, you can support the creation of more miniatures — and get access to new releases through your membership — at:

Patreon members can receive regular miniature releases alongside previews, development posts and other benefits depending on membership tier.

It's also where many of the miniatures that eventually make their way into The Lion's Tower catalogue first appear.
