Description
Flesh Husks are the faithful servants, slaves, and combat instruments of the fleshmasters, created from those unfortunate enough to fall into the cabal’s hands alive — or to die in its service without being useful enough in death. Some are assembled from prisoners, slaves, and captured warriors, their wills broken through torture, surgery, and pain-sorcery; others are raised from fallen fighters of the cabal, denied even the peace they might have earned after death. Their bodies are opened, reinforced with bone plates, muscle implants, alchemical stimulants, and neural shunts, until their former identities vanish beneath layers of commands, agony, and another’s will. Flesh Husks know neither fear, fatigue, nor doubt: they march where their master points, shield him with their bodies, cleave enemies with heavy blades, tear through armor with hooks, and continue fighting even as everything that once made them alive spills out of them. To Khessida and Uriziel T’Rakkon, they are not soldiers, but expendable material, unfinished experiments, and proof of the highest art of fleshcraft. Each Flesh Husk is a punishment, a weapon, and a warning: in the hands of a fleshmaster, death does not bring freedom — it merely opens the path to a more useful form of slavery.
