Operating in small groups ahead of the main invasion force, Marines are often able to complete the main task of invasion alone, leaving the grunts to simply mop up the dregs. Resistance on Earth has proven so strong that different tactics are called for, and the Marines under Tor’s command are now operating as a part of the main force, albeit an elite and deadly one.
