The M70, initially called the MTA-70 was developed by the United States and West Germany in the context of the Cold War during the mid 1960s, intended to counter the new generation of heavy Warsaw Pact battle frames developed by the Soviet Union.
The project resulted in a massive, heavily armed and armored MTA that went into active service just as the Vietnam war was heating up. Armed with a 155mm Folding Howitzer, ATGM pod, 30mm Chaingun and Laminate Battleshield this monster was essentially a walking murder fortress.
M70 Maxwell takes its namesake from the legendary Maxwell Davenport Taylor (August 26, 1901 – April 19, 1987). Known for his excellent command of the 101st airborne in WW2, his strategic framework leading up to the Vietnam war and cleaning up Westmoreland's mess in Vietnam. His strategic mind and abilities as a leader, warrior and tactician are truly inspiring.

The included .stl files have been extensively test printed, designed for 1/285 (6mm) scale wargaming and resin printers. All files are watertight, so can also be printed in filament. Easily up-scaled to 1/100 (15mm) by simply increasing the scale of the .stl files 230% in your chosen slicer.
All 6mm mecha stand roughly 35mm-50mm tall, depending if its a light, medium or heavy-class mech. Upscaling a medium-class 45mm tall mech to 15mm will give you a mecha standing roughly 100mm tall.
