Model comes in 2 variations. One that goes with the base and one without the base (named accordingly).
Archelon is an extinct genus of sea turtle that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 70-80 million years ago.
It is the largest sea turtle species known to have existed, with a shell measuring up to 4.5 meters (15 feet) in length and an estimated weight of more than 2,200 kilograms (4,850 pounds).
Archelon had a flattened, streamlined shell and flippers adapted for swimming in the open ocean. Its diet is believed to have consisted of jellyfish and other soft-bodied marine invertebrates.
Fossil remains of Archelon have been found in North America, particularly in the central region of the United States.Model includes a Pre-supported version.
The model is sized for 1:80 of the actual size. You can reduce or enlarge the model using the slicing software if you need a different size.
Pre-supported model is oriented to minimize supports to the face and other high-detail parts. Care should be taken when removing the supports to avoid damaging the model.
