Anurognathus ammoni is a remarkable species of pterosaur from the Late Jurassic period, approximately 150 million years ago.
With a wingspan measuring about 40 centimeters, it possessed a diminutive yet intriguing form. Its skeletal structure reveals adaptations for flight, such as hollow bones and a robust breastbone for muscle attachment.
