Description
Gallimimus bullatus is a genus of ornithomimid theropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous period, around 70 million years ago.
Discovered in the Gobi Desert of Mongolia, Gallimimus is one of the largest known ornithomimids, measuring up to 6 meters in length.
It is characterized by its long legs, neck, and tail, and a small, toothless beak, suggesting it was a fast, omnivorous or herbivorous dinosaur.
Gallimimus had large eyes and a lightweight skeleton, aiding in its agility.
This dinosaur is notable for its bird-like features, providing significant insights into the evolution of modern birds from theropod ancestors.
