Description
Suchomimus tenerensis was a large, fish-eating theropod dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous of Niger.
Belonging to the Spinosauridae family, it measured around 11 meters (36 feet) in length and weighed up to 3.5 tons.
It had a long, crocodile-like skull with conical teeth, ideal for catching fish, and powerful forelimbs with large claws.
Its semi-aquatic lifestyle made it a formidable predator in both water and land ecosystems of Early Cretaceous Africa.
