Minotaur’s are a remnant of a bygone era. They were once the proud guardians of the Under City of Labyrinth. The city stretches for miles and miles under the world of Morn. No one can remember the creatures that called it home, but hieroglyphs and artwork point to an ancient elven society, possibly the predecessors of the Drow before a calamity drove them further underground. The city is now a haunted ruin, rotting in the darkness.
However, one part of the old order still exists. Magically formed, then bred for their role, the Minotaur’s were honourable protectors of this doomed realm and still they cling to their sacred oath. All who set foot in the Labyrinth must answer to these creatures.
Minotaur’s are bestial creatures, fury incarnate, but they are creatures of law and are bound by their code of honour. Secret passwords are passed from generation to generation and those who know them are free to wander the halls and corridors. In times of war when the creatures of the Labyrinth have had to mass to protect their oath, other creatures have been witnessed within their ranks. Few live to tell tales of such a host as death almost certainly awaits them, but the one or two who have done so have told of serpent bodied creatures who are masters of the bow and some of their insane mutterings warn of even more terrible beasts…
This model is the Minotaur Guardian. He is armed with the two battle axes and has two head options, armoured or unarmoured.
The Minotaur Guardian stands 70mm to eyeline and is supplied with a 90mm round gaming base. He is a huge miniature!
Made of high quality resin. This is a multi-part model that requires superglue to assemble.
