Description

Part of Tribes and Patreon March 2026 release.
This set is part of the Avrean Fort Bundle

All the models are test printed in resin and presupported when needed.

With this set you can build large forts in an ancient Roman style - such as the one in the renders - as well as fortifications for most cultures that would use wood to build defenses. If you want to start smaller, you can make isolated watchtowers, simple wooden bastions or even small early medieval castles. You could even just print sections of the walls and use them for the fortified palisades of the villages that are closer to the dangers of the wild as well as those of small towns - I'm thinking viking, especially if combined with round shields!

They come with two parts: front and back. Combined, they create a tall palisade made with barely worked wooden trunks (at the front) that is reinforced with beams that help keeping the battlements walkable (the back). You can always combine two "front" sides instead of a "front" and a "back" side to have a more fortified looking wall, or you can use two "back" sides to make solid scaffolding for some construction, wooden bridges, etc... As always, these are modular in length and height: you'll be able to make the wall shorter or taller depending on your desires. You can even make it multi-layered by staking a second wall on top of the first one, and so on (more on all that in the instructions).

There are ladders, stairs and working doors! Yeah, this time it made sense to make them since the large beams that make up the walls would easily hide the magnets that make them practical. Both the massive fort walls and the smaller "side" ones have magnets on the top and bottom for that effect. For the battlements, instead, you can choose between regular trunk points, railings, open ends and a few styles of moving fortifications (they work too if magnetized!) - those Helm Deep wooden planks on top of the main doors seemed a cool idea and look!

The towers join seamlessly to the structure of the walls thanks to the "back floors" that have removable top beams - they also have four height options for the backs to add more variety. If you don't want to magnetize the whole thing and care less about variation, just print the joined bits or glue them together! I like the ancient Roman "watchtower close to the wall look", but you can always just make towers with more walls: choose the section that looks the best in the instructions and print what you prefer :)
