Model of The Prince of Kyiv, medieval commander of the Kievan-Rus (Current day Ukraine) who did rule a vast Kingdom during the medieval ages. The Kievan-Rus where closely connected to medieval Denmark as the Danish King Valdemar according to some sources grew up in Kyiv (0-5 years) at his grand father, Grand Prince of Kyiv.

(The name Valdemar is Danish for Volodymyr)
