The Lucerne Type 1 was originally designed as a dedicated tank-hunter - less expensive and easier to produce than the Kli-San on which it is based, it is ideally suited for ambush tactics in defensive warfare. The intended armament is a heavy laser cannon, but variants and field expedients often change this weapon to a less complex one.
Nearly identical to its sister, the Type 2 operates in the opposite role as a low-cost and well-protected assault gun for attacking fortifications. It is usually equipped with a low-velocity siege cannon, but variants have been issued with such diverse weaponry as thermal cannons, plasma guns, and more.
Both chassis have been built on the original suspension with wraparound tracks supporting sponson weaponry, as well as on the more recent mod.C suspension, which is lighter and more mobile at the cost of the supporting weaponry. The Lucerne has also been seen equipped with dozer blades, trench rails, and even a small commander’s turret in place of the cupola with provision for more defensive weaponry.

This kit includes the parts needed to build a Lucerne Assault Gun and its variants.
There are ten main gun types and over twenty secondary weapon options included, as well as two main hull options. In addition, you can choose from two main track types, each with optional track guards. The classic wraparound tracks also have the option to mount internal or external sponsons as well as an armored cover plate if you'd prefer. Finally, a cupola turret with two gun mounts is provided in addition to the normal commander cupola options.
The weapons have magnet holes in case you want to swap weapons after assembly. You’ll need 3mm (⅛”) x 1mm and 5mm (¼”) x 1mm rare earth magnets if you choose to take advantage of them.
This kit is presupported, but also includes unsupported STLs for those who want to print in FDM or would prefer to handle their own supports.
UPDATE: both hulls have been updated for better cupola fit, and the cupola turret has been adjusted to better fit on other models.
The model is provided with and without supports, as well as with Lychee files for modification. The model has been test-printed before release, but I cannot guarantee that the supports provided will work across every printing setup.
