Yur Gunship (Medium)

Models in the Akarios Exclusive Collection were originally created for the Stars of Akarios board game, a narrative-driven, cooperative campaign game for 1-4 players set in the Akarios Galaxy (visit oommgames.com for more information).  The Gunship is a mid-sized Yur spacecraft.

Like most species, the culture of the Yurs is reflected in their technology. Jerarch is a hot planet with a significant greenhouse effect. The tropical setting informs the Yurs mindset in that they look at building ideas through growth. Everything is in a state of change. Their aesthetic is more fluid and rounded, like plant life.  Yurs industrialization is not one of their strengths since they are frequently iterating their designs. They don’t tend to mass-produce their ships, but the ships are very compatible with a wide range of technological upgrades.
