- Varolac
Under the crimson glow of a blood moon, varcolacs stir from their slumber to feast. Among the foul night-beasts which stalk the accursed corners of the world, the varcolac is an apex predator. Part bat, part wolf, and part man, these hulking monstrosities are swift on two feet, swifter on four, and even swifter still when they take to the air on great leathery wings. Vaguely humanoid, their arms—those of a bat and tipped with razor sharp claws—are much longer than their legs which end in lupine haunches and much of their body is covered in wolf-like fur.
- Hunky Punk
Formed from stone and malice, the hunky punk is a vile creature. These diminutive gargoyles are often found clinging to the buttresses and battlements of crumbling ruins, obscured by shadow, ready to spring to life and attack unsuspecting travelers. Hunky punks are cold, cruel imps. They live only to torment other living things. Reasoning with a hunky punk is near impossible—the only thing that would interest one is the opportunity to cause pain and misery. Hunky punks extend their malevolence even to their own kind.
- Bound by Blood
is an adventure intended for 4 to 5 characters of levels 10 to 11. Depending on the composition of the party and their capabilities, it could prove a deadly undertaking, so keep that in mind if deciding to run it for your table. In this adventure, the party will ascend a mountain, traversing the ruins of a castle which was the site of a great and bloody battle some two centuries prior, before reaching their goal—a looming belltower which stabs into the dark grey sky Beyond the shadowed curtain of forests primeval, amid the mist-cloaked mountains, an ancient evil is imprisoned. A powerful curse, paid for in the blood of heroes,
binds the vampire tyrant known in legend as the Red Lady to the lone standing tower of her ancestral keep. Within this cage of cold and silent stone, the Red
Lady waits, cursed to live forever in a twisted, monstrous form, hungering eternal.
However, her last remaining servant, himself doomed to live in immortal misery, enlists the aid of adventurers to free his mistress. Though these poor fools know not the purpose of the quest they have been set upon, and the evil they will unleash should they succeed...
