Graveborer Lore

"The Graveborer looms over the industrial sector like a steel god. A monstrous construct, its immense drill-head churns endlessly, carving through the earth's crust in its relentless descent. It has no allegiance, no loyalty—only hunger.

It was in the wake of this destruction that the Hellspire was found. A vast city labyrinth buried so deep that even the oldest denizens had never whispered of its existence.

The first Hellminers descended on makeshift cages, their winches screeching against rusted pulleys. They were reckless fortune hunters who saw opportunity in the grave of a forgotten age. The Graveborer's master saw an opportunity too - access to the Hellspire through his drill pit for a hefty toll. Even the Hellspire Hunters have to pay this debt.

Some miners returned with relics—power cells humming with the ghosts of a lost civilization, data-slates filled with secrets worth killing for. Others never returned at all. The Hellspire is no passive ruin. The deeper miners delve, the more the city seems to resist—twisting corridors where footsteps echo out of sync, flickering mushrooms that pulse like dying hearts, and mutated things moving in the darkness.

Still, the Graveborer digs. Every day, its engines roar to life, drilling deeper, searching for more. Whether it will unearth fortune or something far worse, no one can say. But as long as there's opportunity in the darkness, the machine will never stop drilling."
