Capped Village Well – Grimdark Trench Warfare Terrain

The village well has been sealed. Perhaps it protects the last clean water in the settlement. Perhaps the villagers were more afraid of what might rise from below.

This capped well adds a small storytelling landmark to grimdark villages and trench warfare tables. Worn brickwork surrounds a heavy, riveted lid with a lifting ring, while a cross is recessed into the raised masonry behind it.

Use it as a vital water supply to defend, a sealed entrance to investigate, or a contested objective among ruined cottages. The separate lid lets you display the well open or closed, giving you different options for games and dioramas.

Designed at 28mm scale. Approximate dimensions: 46.8 mm wide × 56.2 mm deep × 47.8 mm high.
