The Kelt warrior was travelling with a group of his people when at the edge of the forest he saw a woman looking at him with eyes full of hate. Nobody else seemed to have noticed her. Had she come for him?He remembered the first time he held a weapon in his hands. A Fianna had taught him how to fight and since then he has crossed hundreds of battlefields. He was a Fury warrior, a veteran who expected death to take him at the prime of his life. His children were grown up, his wife was still beautiful and wouldn’t have a hard time attracting wooers. He carried on walking and rummaged in his belongings being carried by a mule to pull out his battle-axe. He then walked towards the edge of the forest while undressing, his heart full of joy: by the goddess Danu’s grace a woman had given birth to him. Another one had taught him the arts of war. Yet another woman had given him descendants. And finally a woman might free him from the weaknesses of the flesh. The cycle was almost complete. One of his companions asked him what was happening, to which he answered:“I have a meeting with the goddess and I have made her wait for too long.”

The Lanyfhs of the Black Woods are formidable female Drune warriors who roam in the shadows of the forests of Caer Maed. These Special troops are able to go into a state of murderous madness, the Rage of the Sorceresses, which allows them to re-roll a failed Damage Roll once per fight.The Lanyfhs of the Black Woods are available in two different blister packs containing three miniatures each. The weaponry and the Abilities differ between the two blister packs, letting you choose the most appropriate profile depending on the opponent being confronted!
