Wanes are usually short (3-4 feet tall) and are slow walkers, but can run very quickly on all fours.
Wanes have exceptional hearing and make use of echolocation to comprehend their environments. Additionally, they are capable of making a much wider range of sounds than humans, from the high-pitched sounds they use for sonar, to low bass sounds that vibrate on a sub-sonic level. They have a facility with languages and most wanes speak several languages with fluency.
