Spinetails are a medium sized herbivore. They sport massive spikes to impale would be attackers. Worse yet is that once the spikes dig in they detach staying in their foes stopping them from healing. The spikes regrow over a short period of time somtimes becoming longer and harder with each regrowth. With enough force they are able to swing their tail and shoot their spines out from their tail, impaling creatures from afar when threatened. Alternatively they use their tail like a mighty impaling club.
