Before the legends, before the stained-glass shrines and whispered prayers, there was only a boy who could not stop dreaming of his own death.

He grew up beneath a crimson sky, a quiet child with wings of pale gold and eyes that saw too much. From the moment he could speak, he told stories of a future drenched in blood - of a throne shattered, of a betrayer's blade, of his own body broken in the defense of a dying age.

The lords of the Imperium called it a blessing.
He called it a sentence.

Yet he did not run.

He led from the front, shining like a star over the storm of war. Where he descended, morale surged. where his wings cast their shadow, enemies faltered. He could have ruled as a god of light - but every victory only brought him closer to the doom he had always seen.

He could have chosen survival.
Instead, he chose sacrifice.

At the end of all things, when betrayal finally bared its fangs, the Martyr Angel did what he had always known he would do: he faced the darkness alone. Not for glory. Not for worship. But so that others might live long enough to remember his name.

They call him a saint.
He would say he is nothing more than a soldier who kept his promise.
