Exotic gravity, pressure differentials, atmospheric conditions that degrade standard infantry performance without justifying the logistical cost of full battlesuit deployment - the Greater Good's answer is the Exostrider: a precision exoskeletal compensation system light enough to keep operators fast, modular enough to be reconfigured per-planet, and paired with the same neural-integrated cranial interface that drives Greater Good infantry beyond standard human limits. The frame handles the body's relationship with the environment. The helmet handles everything else.

The topless configuration was submitted as a formal equipment variance request. The reasoning, as filed: in high-gravity operational environments, standard chest coverage creates pressure distribution issues against the exoskeletal upper harness during sustained movement. The Greater Good's equipment review board assessed the submission. The board approved it. Whether the operators who submitted it were citing genuine ergonomic data or had identified a bureaucratic pathway to a preferred loadout is not recorded in the variance documentation.

What is recorded: deployment satisfaction scores for the high-gravity configuration are among the highest in the Exostrider programme. The Greater Good notes this without further comment.
