The Samurai class had been adept at mounted warfare for more than half a mellenium by the beginning of the Sengoku Jidai period. Mounted spearmen took prominence over mounted archers. These Yari armed samurai are depicted by this 5 figure set.
There are also brand new head options, a spectacular group of 4 horses with elaborate furniture, and arms bearing Gunbai War fans. These can be used in conjunction with the body option wearing a Jinbaori (vest) to create mounted samurai commanders.
