The armored might of Charlemagne and his successors, these troops are well protected by scale-mail armor and wield spears, axes and swords. The set also includes the characteristic Carolingian shield with its swirl pattern.
3 helmet choices are included. Two of these are of disputed accuracy, as there is the possibility they are an attempt to recall the glories of Rome. We have included them both for the sake of completeness and variety.
