Ming Empire Northern Cavalry

The Armies of the Ming Dynasty were constituted by both infantry and cavalry formations. For the latter, Similar tactics to their Yuan Mongol Predecessors would continue in use while being superseded by innovation. Massed ranks of archer cavalry would be supplemented by those firing hand cannons. New styes of brigandine armor would develop, and even some Demi-cuiriass (upper torso) armor has been documented.

This set attempts to portray the Cavalry used by Northern Ming army units. Command options such as a banner are included. Multiple helmet options are included to maximise variety.
