This is a complete set that allows you to print up a "Mech Arena" inspired by the Steiner Stadium map from the Battletech Essential box set.
The retracting walls are separate from their hex base so you can remove them when needed. There is a slot they rest in. When removed the slot looks like the top of the walls. All the file names have a x# wher the # is how many to print to reproduce how I have this set up for the least about of tiles. You can print up how you wish to change the layout and size of the map.
Some of the walls that are large and solid have been broken up for this set to easily fit on printers. They can still count as a full, unbroken wall in your games.
I did include a wall and a frame piece that is not needed for the base set up but can be used when making your own set up. These two files have a x0 at the end of their file name.
I included a color screenshot of the underside of the board in the pics above. This shows how I set up the board and you can see what size tiles went where. The yellow parts are the frame, the green are the walls and the wall base tiles, and the gray are the hex tiles.
The frame have holes on the underside for 3mm x 8mm disk magnets to secure this to a magnetic white board or metal tabletop.
The hex base is designed to have 3mm ball magnets inserted into it if you wished to use this with my Maghex Tile Terrain. You can see more about my Magnetic Hex Tiles design here:
