Pyngo Armored Lorry
It’s no secret that a major factor in the Crusader war machine’s victories has been the mastery of logistics and supply. When Crusader supply has broken down, so, too, has the Crusader war effort. Most notably in the failed invasion of Coftyr where momentum at the front stalled and was then completely lost when supply routes from depots in the east were cut off.
In late 1773 the first Pyngo Lorry rolled off the assembly line in Crusader occupied Lower Barro. In the near decade since thousands of Pyngos have been manufactured.
The Pyngo is a lightly armored lorry with a crew of one and a powerful engine capable of speeds of up to 60kph on hard packed roads. The Pyngo is also capable of cross country travel unlike a typical lorry.
Field modifications to the Pyngo include a rhyfler carrying variant and mounted mortars and machine guns to function as convoy protection.
Armored transports for moving supplies between nations and fronts are imperative to the Crusader Logistical Corps and the Pyngo is quickly becoming the backbone of the Crusade’s long distance supply lines where ships of air or sea cannot easily travel.
