Sol'kesh Nicilliath + 5E Statblock

A large predatory creature that is a descendent of centipedes and crustaceans, broad ranging and can be found in any biome. Heroically mounted on a 2 inch fallen tree diorama.

Dozens of loud taps hit wet stone in quick succession as a sinuously segmented crustacean rushes across the rocky coast under the gray light of rain laden clouds. Long antennae whip through the salty air as it catches the musty scent of gharril and climbs higher to the cliffs above where the clumsily moving clutch of gastropods attempt to escape. With a burst of speed up the near vertical outcropping, its multitude of pronged claws finding easy purchase as the nicilliath closes in on the three snail-like creatures. In one quick fluid motion, the largest of the prey’s shell is shattered as the crustacean spears its he ad into the hard material in an eruption of salty gore while its long segmented body move past its fallen victim to latch on to the next creature and pull it into its clawed legs to be punctured and eviscerated. Broken shell and blue blood cover the long grass that top the cliffs edge as the nicilliath feasts, the lone, surviving gharril runs heedlessly into grasslands further inland, in fear of returning to its coastal home.
