Within the holy ranks of the Weeping Crusade, Arch-Fanatics are looked upon with great reverence, fearless leaders and walking exemplars of their doctrine. However, for anyone who dares stand against them, their visage means certain death, and a grim hope that it will be at the edge of their blade and not a slow and agonizing end nailed to a torture rack, where their blood will be painfully drained so the Arch-Fanatic can bathe in it beneath their sacrosanct armour, testing their endurance against corruption and fueling their righteous wrath. In combat, they are accompanied by angelical cherubs that swing sanctified censers around them, each Arch-Fanatic having mastered a wide arrangement of weapons during millennia of constant crusading and warmongering.
This kit includes all the files necessary to assemble one Arch-Fanatic.
- 1x Set of legs attached to a scenic 40mm base.
- 1x Torso with the helmet, torture rack and cherubs attached.
- 1x Torso without attachments in case a simpler build is desired.
- 1x Helmet.
- 2x Arms with censer-flails (one left and one right).
- 1x Left arm with a shield.
- 1x Left arm with an empty hand.
- 1x Right arm with a revolver blade.
- 1x Right arm with a polearm shaft that can be combined with any of the three tips.
- 1x Fission guisarme tip.
- 1x Revolver spear tip.
- 1x Revolver halberd tip.
- 1x Misericordia that can be glued on the belt or the tassets.
- 1x Magnet filler to make assembly easier if magnets are not utilised.
These parts are fully compatible with other Weeping Crusade infantry models (and vice-versa), which can be used to make multiple Arch-Fanatics that look more distinct to each other, or to simply lower the model's height by combining it with legs that are not part of a scenic base. The arms can be combined with each other for different loadouts, even those not shown in the renders, like a Censer-Flail and a shield or a revolver blade and an empty hand, besides the option to mirror some of them for even more options, though beware the narrow space between the body and the balustrade. The appropriate parts have slots for 2x3mm magnets so that arms can be exchanged at any point.
