In December 1938, under the cover of the Third German Antarctic Expedition, a combined force of SS and Ahnenerbe scientists ventured south aboard the pride of Hitler’s Unterseeboot fleet, the König U-boot, Fatherland.

 

Sculpted by Mark Evans. Cast in white metal. Painted for display by Andrew Taylor. Supplied unpainted and with a 25mm slottabase.
