A professor of the University of Ardris who lost everything, save for his job. Whilst he still continues to teach at the university, the grief of his passed wife has slowly eroded the mind of the once sharp-witted and whimsical transmutation professor. Still, his knowledge has not faded, and despite his peculiarities, he remains a dutiful professor, unrivalled in his field.

Pepitos met his wife Seldina when they were both still students at the University of Ardris. It was love at first sight; the classic kind sung of by bards and written by recognised each other from their homeland of Grans, a small, tightly knit community. Though the two had never spoken then, they found in the foreign land of Belfrie they held more in common than they could have imagined. What began as a friendship blossomed into romance, love, marriage and a life well-lived.

But love does not come without loss. Seldina contracted an incurable illness only a year after Pepitos had received his esteemed position as a professor. A year later it claimed her life. Pepitos lost his mind the same day he lost her, never truly recovering, though continuing his duties as a professor. He held hope that somehow, she would one day return to him. Not through necromancy or other dark means, but a wish, made true.

It was this that saw Pepitos seek out the Bastion of the Wandering Mage himself. Feeling some sort of divine architect must be behind the machinations of the castle, he chose to enter it of his own accord, hoping that within he may find the answers to what he seeks. He will not leave until his answer reveals itself, and will stay for as long as it takes, or until it claims his own life. Either way, he will reunite with Seldina.
