An age-old friend of the Wandering Mage, Gintharax has agreed to take part in his gauntlet as one of the final challenges, in exchange for his own bargain. Gintharax knows most that face him will fall, but ensures that if they do, they are given a swift rebirth within a better life, or a place in the halls of Syelden.

A Silver Dragon who still lived during the First Era. Whilst it does not know the true identity of Aaron Drafthold, it regards him as a friend for the human clearly knows the intimate details of its own life; beyond whatever Tharador Scholars have located. Thus it has been accepted he is a reincarnation of some elder creature or Beremeni from the Age of Creation, given the gift of a remembered life.

Whilst Gintharax cannot use its full power on adventurers braving Aaron’s Bastion, it can certainly act like it is doing so. Those who do must stomach and brave almost certain death in the face of a dragon, to truly prove themselves to him.
