The home and fortress of Aaron Drafthold. The legend of the teleporting bastion is one that has appeared in many kingdoms across Tharador for the past few years. A mysterious castle perching itself on a cliff face near a populous city. In some tales, monsters spew from its doors, while in others it beckons adventurers with promises of treasure and power. Like many tales, there are truths and exaggerations to all the stories of this place, and only those who dare venture through its doors will know the truth.

A castle not wrought by brick and stone, but arcane alone. A conjuration of Aaron Drafthold that he uses as his abode, travelling across the lands of Tharador. Whilst he seldom takes residence in the castle, he still uses it at times as his own hub when in wilderness or uncivilized lands. Though most commonly, he now uses it as a proving ground for those who he believes may one day shape the fate of the continent.

It is now a gauntlet. One which may make or break Tharador’s would-be heroes. Although it seems plain and even quaint from the outside, compared to the castle’s of lords and kings, it is the interior which poses the greatest threat to those who would storm this bastion. There lies the traps, machinations and conjurations of Aaron, and any who can best them, thus prove to him the potency of their spirits, and the potential to be a hero of the land.
