GUMGUM — Bone-Sworn Blademaster. He descends into the forgotten mines, into dark veins older than memory, and hunts the ancient things still breathing down there. What he brings back isn't just ore. It's bones. Relics. The raw matter the army is built from. His crown still burns with the flame of the last thing that tried to stop him.
TRUYUS — Hunt Rank: Duelist. Where Gumgum goes down, Truyus looks up. His prey flies. Ancient sky-born beasts, leather-winged horrors, the things that were never meant to be shot out of the air. He carves them out of the sky one shot at a time. The mask he wears used to belong to one of them.
"Your world had twelve apex predators. Now it has eleven. Wear the difference."

Lore before models. Always.
Just wrapped these two up and wanted to share. They're the first painted pair from a new original setting I'm building called the Draggar — basically an ancient hunter people who track legendary beasts and wear what they kill.
Gumgum (left) is the bone-sworn blademaster. The idea was that he's the one going down into the mines to fight the old things still breathing down there, so I went with a warm earth-tone base and pushed the OSL hard on the flame crown and the crystals in his hand. Wanted the glow to feel like the only light source the model carries with him.
Truyus (right) hunts the flying ones. Lighter, more ranged silhouette. Kept him in the same palette family so they read as a pair, but shifted the teal accents onto the weapon core and the eye lenses instead of the hands — different hunt, different energy.
Both are 35mm. Silhouette was the first thing I locked in during sculpt — I wanted you to be able to ID who does what just from the back lit shadow.
