A creature floats before you, hidden inside the bulk of its armor-cloth robes, unmoving and unmoved by your presence. Exactly who, or what, the thing is - man or machine, mutant or monster - is impossible to discern. Its glass face reveals nothing but your reflection; its mechanical voice reveals nothing at all. You recall that this creature is known as a philethis, but you don't know anything else about them.
