DESCRIPTION

As Lakkenmarsh-City is besieged by forces from the city-state of Quana, the PCs must choose a side, either joining the attackers or the defenders. The PCs must organize the troops and strategize to gain an advantage; choices made earlier in the campaign trigger other forces from the region to rally to the PCs’ support or join their opponents to avenge past wrongs. Eventually, the PCs play a key role in the siege as they try to defend the castle called the Bulwark that gives access to Lakkenmarsh-City.
Siege of the Bulwark is the fourteenth part of the Mini Monster Mayhem campaign, but it can also be played as a self-contained module for four 9th-level characters. It includes a new bard college developed by halflings of Lakkenmarsh who take pleasure in undermining the rule of intimidating bullies and tyrants by ridiculing them.
