No one knows if those in the Wasteland consciously decided to resemble those movie killers, copying their outfits, weapons, and even certain unwritten rules of the genre, or if perhaps those movies weren't entirely fiction and, without knowing it, were documenting something real, which the end of the world has now unearthed from the filthiest depths of the human psyche.
