Rocky Plague Outcroppings

The first signs that a land and its people are about to suffer a virulent plague brought about by the god of disease are large, fleshy boils that suddenly appear and begin to grow and multiply rapidly, infecting the very ground itself. As ominous and revolting as they are, they merely portend the true horrors that will emerge as the plague spreads and reaches its full intensity. This set of rocky outcroppings are in the beginning stages of an infectious plague that is truly horrific once it has taken hold and had time to develop into later stages. Whether its origins lie as the handiwork of some powerful, malefic being or in some yet unknown virus are up to you to decide at your game table!
