In the rainy season, poisoned mists lay heavy over the perpetually soaked ground. The plants grow twisted, in lurid colors dripping with toxic nectar. Starving beasts unfortunate enough to awaken from their hibernation avoid the vegetation until their hunger overtakes them. The Raikin, monsters immune to these toxins, reign over this blighted land. Their population is only kept in check by the Rain Stalker, her Calamity Rifle thundering even louder then the Raikin's lightning mastery.
