3 minatures I made for a flaconier of FEC but I got so carried away I might as well use them as stand alone minis!

Hope they will allow use FEC more bat like creatures soon so i can proxy them as fell bats next to my proxies of fell bats!

In the deranged mind of Ringmaster Vargoth the Magnificent, the skies above the circus tent are alive with colour and grace. He calls his winged horrors “The High-Fliers” — daring aerial acrobats who swoop, spin, and dive to the roaring adulation of an imagined crowd.

In truth, these creatures are ancient, corpse-eating birds warped by Shyishan magic. Once scavengers haunting battlefields, they were drawn to the stench of the Flesh-eater Courts’ feasts. Vargoth, in his madness, “tamed” them, draping their skeletal frames in scraps of silk and bells, believing them to be loyal circus performers.

The Carrion circle above the battlefield like vultures, their eyes glowing with the necromantic rot of the realms. When the “performance” begins, they dive not to entertain, but to rend flesh and pluck eyes, their hooked beaks and talons tearing at foes before the ground acts close in. In the minds of the ghouls below, these are not shrieks of terror — they are gasps of awe from the crowd.

To outsiders, the High-Fliers are an omen of death. Villages whisper that where the shadow of a rotting bird passes overhead, the “Midnight Carnival” is near — and no soul will see the dawn.
