"Commodore Melne? We have contacts on the screen. A trio of Alliance Starfighters escorting a pair of Alliance Bombers, and what seems to be a Medical Frigate"
Commodore Sola Melne loosened up from her rigid stance at the front of the bridge, and unclasped her hands. Her ship was part of a sprawling blockade, some ignorant factory workers had dared to mount a strike on Empire day, protesting mandatory triple shifts, and they'd been orbiting this backwater planet for weeks since. A thought crossed her mind, what was this cursed planet called, Kaldua, maybe? She chuckled. It seemed so inconsequential. The designation was much more poignant, OR-317-222-987-Alpha.
She turned to address the crew.
"Sergeant of the Watch? Set action station throughout the ship. Scramble fighters on an intercept course"
He nodded respectfully, then raised the intercom
"Now hear this, all hands man your battle-stations. We are under attack, this is not a drill. Attention all pilots, prepare for take-off"
Satisfied, she turned to face the nearest crewmember; young, barely out of the Academy as well
"Helmsman"
"Yes, Commodore"
"Move to intercept, raise shields and weapons, launch fighters when ready"
He nodded "At once, Commodore"
This was her first foray into combat since the exercises at the Imperial Academy, and she watched with pride as her crew snapped into action with trained Imperial discipline. Security crew handed out carbines from receptacles in the armory. The Technicians had scrambled from the Mess Hall, half eaten rations and plates knocked flying as they sprinted to their posts. To her sides, the Gunnery crew had plotted likely trajectories, and the laser batteries rotated, ready to fire.
The familiar hum of the reactor increased as it increased power to allocate to shields and weapons, and there was a momentary lurch as the Grav-plates shifted to accommodate the acceleration as they moved into position. A dull thud announced the detaching of the Imperial Star Fighter, their familiar wail just about piercing the nebula gases surrounding them as they moved into hunting positions.
"All stations report readiness, Commodore"
"Good" she stated coldly, as her hands returned to their familiar place, clasped tightly behind her back, as she turned to face the outer window. Facing away from her crew, she allowed a smile to momentarily pass across her lips.
"Let us teach these so called Rebels what Imperial Retribution feels like..."

The "Imperial Light Cruiser" is a truly multi-role ship, fulfilling multiple varied roles in the Imperial Navy; Courier, transport, escort, freighter, and others beside. While considered a light frigate, for the crew that serve, it is anything but small.
This is the largest model we here at Dark Fire Designs have ever made, and what an undertaking it has been! It's jam packed full of features, so here we go!
Standing at a huge 52in/132cm long x 28in/71cm wide x 13in/33cm tall (landing gear not extended), and with 4 floors, it's sure to dominate any table it's on!
With multiple sections of the fully detailed interior, you can accessorise to your needs! Featuring crates, barrels, chairs, food/plates, beds, dressers, night stands, empty&stacked shelves, weapons crates, removable escape pods; and more! The Turrets can be rotated, and the Access Elevator moves from underneath to floor 1.
The Landing Gear and Access Tubes are designed to be removable, so you can place with landing gear down, or up and rest on the access tubes. The Tubes are compatible with the "Imperial Star Fighter", "Imperial Star Interceptor", "Imperial Armored Walker" & "Imperial Scout Walker", which should be able to be modified to hang underneath via magnets. However, do bear in mind only the "Imperial Armored Walker" is likely able to take the weight!
But what is a ship without crew, and it's not lacking there! We have 17 minis in total, with a mix of male & female:
Imperial Astro Mech - 2 Poses (Moving and Stationary)
Imperial Commodore
Imperial Crew - (4 Standing Poses, and 2 Seated)
Imperial Gunner - (1 Standing Pose and 1 Seated)
Imperial Security - (2 Standing Poses)
Imperial Technicians - (2 Standing Poses and 2 Seated)
This truly has been a Gargantuan undertaking, and we're super excited to see this ship gracing your tables!
Technical information: This ship has been predominantly intended to be printed in FDM due to it's sheer resource cost (we estimate around 10 liters of resin), however we have included pre-supported versions of all the components for resin printing. Resin Printing will need an extremely large printer, we used a Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K
FDM printing is not supportless (use the unsupported version as a base), there will be components that do need supports adding via the slicer. For FDM, the combined maximum component size is 220mm L x 170mm D x 232mm H, if you're unsure for your printer, please send us a message/DM!
For magnets we recommend 10mm x 1.5-2mm
For Resin printing, we STRONGLY recommend using the Chitubox slicer.
Agreement: Upon purchase, the End-User agrees to print these files for personal use and not for any commercial printing endeavors. Please do not share or sell these files or print to sell after purchase.
