The Gyokusho stands as an unyielding sentinel, crafted from the finest jade of Edrador and imbued with a singular purpose: to defend the stronghold of the Cult of the Coiled Serpent. Its origins are as mysterious as the cult itself, though legends tell of its creation deep within the mountains, where master artisans shaped the jade, and dark rituals breathed life into the cold stone. The result is a towering golem, its surface polished to a gleaming green sheen, yet beneath that beauty lies a force of pure destruction.
Brought from Edrador with the cult in their flight from the east, the Gyokusho has seen battle before. It has faced armies, stood alone against hosts of men, and emerged unscathed. Each time, it fulfilled its purpose without hesitation, for that is all the Gyokusho knows. Its existence is tied to the survival of the cult; as long as they remain, so too will it. Unlike the flesh-and-blood followers of the Serpent, the Gyokusho does not tire, does not waver, and cannot be swayed by temptation or fear. Its loyalty is absolute, its power undeniable.
